A cameo in 2002’s Crossroads marked Jamie Lynn’s acting debut. Later that year, she joined the cast of the hit Nickelodeon sketch comedy show All That. In 2005, the actress made the jump from ensemble member to series lead when she landed the titular role in Zoey 101.
The young starlet made headlines when she announced her pregnancy with Casey Aldridge in December 2007. Spears gave birth to her first daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge, in June 2008. Less than two years later, she and Aldridge called it quits.
After a brief career hiatus, Jamie Lynn and Maddie moved to Nashville in 2011 where the former child star began working on a country music career. She subsequently met businessman Jamie Watson, who proposed after more than two years of on-and-off dating. The duo wed in March 2014, and in April 2018, Jamie Lynn welcomed her second daughter, Ivey Joan Watson. In 2019, she returned to acting when she was cast on Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias.
